Levitra
Drug uses
Levitra treats a condition called erectile dysfunction, i.e. man’s inability to maintain erection. Doctors may guarantee 90% success in those patients who try this medication for the first time. It makes blood vessels wider and encourages the necessary amount of blood into penis. At the same time proteins start working slower and the muscles in the groin relax. Levitra only helps to treat problems with erection but not with desire.
How taken
Levitra comes in tablets 20mg each taken by mouth. To get the effect the tablet is supposed to produce, one has to stimulate penis. The tablet is taken with food or a glass of water about an hour before sexual contact. After the tablet is taken it may work up to 4-8hrs.
Never take more of the medicine than the doctor prescribed!
The dosage is individual and may be 5-20mg. Doctors usually suggest starting with 10mg and for those who are over 65 already the starting dose is 5mg.
The medicine is taken no more than once a day.
